The 40 mm Underbarrel Grenade Launcher UBGL-1 is a powerfull, individual weapon,designed for destruction of single or group targets of enemy's manpower in a open area, in trenches and light shelters of field type, as well as reverse slopes, by flat or curved-trajectory fire, using Rounds of caseless type.
This Launcher features with higher practical rate of fire in comparison with the Grenade Launchers intended for firing case grenades, due to its muzzle loading, an open mechanical Sight that is used for correction of grenade drift and a trigger-firing mechanism of self-cocking type.
