The 5.56x45 mm SAR-M12F is a highly effective semi-automatic rifle designed for hunting and competition shooting, belongs to the weapons whose action is based on the principle of conveying a part of the powder gases through a special port in the wall of the stationary barrel and their influence onto the bolt frame.
The barrel is closed by turn of the bolt and engaging the firing stops in the receiver.
The weapon is characterized by milled receiver made according to the method of hot die forging.
The weapon is fed from a 30 round actuated staggered black polymer magazine.  
The sight consists of sectors marked for shooting at a distance of up to 800 m.
Skilled marksmen can hit targets up to 400 m, the bullet has a lethal range of 1100 m.
                                                                                        
The lower hand guard and the upper hand guard are made of highly strong and hardy black polymer. The weapon has a metal side folding butt.

Each semi-automatic rifle is equipped with carrying plate for night or optical sight and an additional left fire selector lever.
