82 mm Mortar Bombs HE 82LD

The 82 mm HE 82LD Mortar Bomb is one of the most up-to-date high explosive bombs of 82 mm caliber. Its performance – especially range, and effect – is the best possible for any tactical purpose.
The HE 82LD Mortar Bomb is destined for fighting uncovered living targets, as well as unarmored means of transportation. The optimum fragmentation effect of approximately 1 400 effective fragments is achieved by the use of spheroidal graphite cast iron with predominately ferritic structure.
The HE 82LD Mortar Bomb had been designed as suitable ammunition for 82 mm caliber Mortars, with a barrel length not less than 1 200 mm.
