The 5.56 mm AR-M5F is a highly effective automatic weapon, used as armament of combat crews, reconnoitring detachments, special antiterrorist and police troops, and security services.

- Hot-die forged and milled receiver for increased durability and service life.
- Chromium plated Barrel bore and chamber.
- FRP (fiber glass reinforced polycaproamide) Lower and Upper hand guards, Pistol grip, 30-round Magazine – heat/cold resistant with antiglare matte finish.
- Right-side folding tubular steel enforced butt with a quick release/lock mechanism.
- MIL-STD (1913) Picatinny rails integrated on three sides of the Lower handguard (at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions).
- MIL-STD (1913) Picatinny rail with 195 mm length over the receiver to accommodate any variety of scopes
- Ambidextrous Safety Lever for rapid fire mode
- Provision for attachment of various Under Barrel Grenade Launchers (UBGL), such as 40x46mm Arsenal UBGL-M6, 40x46mm Arsenal UBGL-M8 and 40 mm ARSENAL UBGL-1 Underbarrel Grenade Launchers, and firing with them .
