7.62x54 mm ARSENAL Machine Guns MG-1MS on Support (tripod) are powerful automatic weapons, used as armament against enemy troops, firing points and light air targets.
The MG-1MS design is specially intended and allows operation of the weapon in heavy climatic conditions, which are typical for the regions of Middle East, south-east Asia and Africa.
In general, the 7.62 mm MG-1MS preserves all technical characteristics of PKS and PKMS, but the results of the endurance test show that the System life and the barrel life of MG-1MS are increased in about 30% in comparison with PKMS, which is a result of some changes of the mechanisms and the increased cooling surface of the barrel.
Main Features:
- Chromium plated Barrel, manufactured by the method of cold radial forging, has increased cooling surface.
- Modern design of the Flash Suppressor-Compensator.
- Butt and Pistol grip, made of high quality and resistant glass fiber reinforced polycaproamide, not effected after heating by direct sun lights, corrosion and humidity resistance, light and firm.
- Feeding by 200-round metal belt, put in a box.
- As support a tripod is provided to achieve more precision and efficiency of fire at air and ground targets.
